Eating the right portions is a challenge, especially when you eat away from home. It is more difficult to measure food and count carbohydrates when someone else prepares the food. Yet, there are many ways to ensure your portion sizes are within the parameters of your meal plan. What tricks or methods do you find helpful in managing your portions?
Tablespoon measurements
- I usually ask for weight information at restaurants. When that is not possible I measure the food using a tablespoon so I can have an approximate amount.
